Rev. Sylvia Bills
Rev. Sylvia Bills has served as an Associate Minister at Historic Tanner A.M.E. Church since 2008 and is the founder of two ministry expressions: Experience Tanner Ministry (ETM) and Release Me Ministry. Through ETM, she helps create transformative worship experiences that integrate technology, creativity, and the living Word of God. Through Release Me Ministry, she extends a message of healing, surrender, and spiritual freedom — helping people walk fully into the liberation Christ has already secured for them.
Her voice is shaped by years of teaching, listening, and walking alongside people in the ordinary and extraordinary moments of faith. She writes and speaks from the places where Scripture meets real life — honest, layered, and always pointing toward freedom.
A creative at heart, Rev. Bills is also the founder of UniqDzyns, a creative services agency that has helped churches, ministries, and businesses tell their stories with clarity and beauty since 2013. Her work in design and technology is not separate from her ministry — it is an extension of it.
As an author, she brings that same intentionality to the page. Her devotional REST · RULE · ABIDE: Coming Back to What Holds You was born from a season of personal seeking — a discovery she could not keep to herself. Her forthcoming title, Release Me, continues that journey through surrender, healing, and the freedom Christ promises to those who trust Him fully.
